2 dead, 3 seriously injured in Irvine crash

IRVINE – Two men died and several others were seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash early Saturday, July 1, near UC Irvine.
Irvine Police Department and Orange County Fire Authority officials responded to the collision at Harvard Avenue and Michelson Drive shortly after 3 a.m., according to authorities. They found a 2015 Infiniti Q50 on fire and extinguished the blaze, and transported the male driver in critical condition to a local hospital.
