1 killed when small plane crashes off the 14 Freeway in Santa Clarita

One person was killed when a small plane crashed on a 14 Freeway off-ramp in Santa Clarita Saturday morning, authorities said.
Los Angeles County firefighters and sheriff’s deputies responded to the Newhall Avenue off-ramp off the northbound 14 Freeway just before 10:15 a.m. on reports that a plane went down, Fire Department Supervisor Melanie Flores said.
Fire officials said one person was confirmed dead.
