1 dead in Santa Ana shooting, suspects at large

A 30-year-old man died after getting shot in Santa Ana Monday night, July 8.
Officers were flagged down shortly before 11 p.m. by bystanders at 1901 W. Myrtle St., Santa Ana police said Tuesday.
They found the man, identified as Eduardo Mijares of Santa Ana, lying in the street of the residential neighborhood with gunshot wounds.
Life-saving measures were deployed, but Mijares was soon pronounced dead by paramedics.
Police said they don’t know the motive. No arrest had been made.
