Woman on run for 10 years finally behind bars

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – After 10 years on the run, Albuquerque police captured a mother charged in the death of her 2-year-old son.
It was a tip that led police to 37-year-old Crucita Perez.
APD said in 2005 she led officers on a chase in southeast Albuquerque. They said Perez crashed into four cars, including a police unit, eventually rolling the black SUV and killing her 2-year-old son who was inside.
