Woman banned from owning pets after dog attacks man

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A woman, who’s dogs attacked an Albuquerque man and killed his dog, was banned from owning pets on Friday.
A judge found Maria Escamilla as an irresponsible pet owner and sentenced her to nine months’ probation and community service for the incident last April.
Albuquerque Animal Welfare seized Escamilla’s dogs after a similar incident earlier this month.
