Winds will be picking up across New Mexico through Thursday

Strong winds will return all across New Mexico by Thursday afternoon. A very high fire danger will develop along with areas of blowing dust.After this morning's strong east canyon wind in Albuquerque died down late this morning, it's was a calm afternoon with warm temperatures. Temperatures across the state were similar to where they were Monday afternoon. The biggest warm up was in northeast New Mexico where winds were gusting over 40 mph. A few spotty rain showers and virga are passing through
