Waterlogged Texas braces for more rain as flooding continues

HOUSTON (AP) — Parts of Texas still recovering from heavy rainfall are watching new storms that could dump up to 10 inches of rain and worsen flooding in rivers and other waterways that already have risen to record levels.
More rain is forecast in Southeast Texas from Thursday through Saturday.
One storm system moved through the Houston-area Wednesday night and Thursday morning, dumping nearly eight inches of rain in some of the city’s northern suburbs and leading to some flooding.
