Water main break, sinkhole causes closure near Coors and Ellison

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Northbound Coors Bypass near Ellison was shut down Thursday morning after a water main break caused flooding and sinkhole in the area.
Around 3:30 a.m., the Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority discovered a leak near Coors and Ellison, which turned out to be a broken water main.KRQE's Traffic MapA twelve-inch line broke and water began leaking underneath the pavement, creating a sinkhole.
