Voters approve nearly $600 million in school bond funds
ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE)– Albuquerque Public Schools and Central New Mexico Community College were the big winner in Tueday night’s bond election.
Voters approved 575 million dollars for APS which will be used to rebuild old schools, add to existing ones, and install surveillance cameras to prevent burglaries and vandalism.
The money will also be used to help students directly, including those at Albuquerque High.
Voters also gave the green light to 84 million dollars for CNM.
