Volunteers help clean Balloon Fiesta Park

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Hundreds came out for a big cleanup at Balloon Fiesta Park on Saturday.
Volunteers picked up trash and took out weeds around Balloon Fiesta Park. It’s all in an effort to make a good impression on those who come out to see the Balloon Fiesta.
“This event is a premiere event for Albuquerque and we want to put on our best face for the city. We just want the city to look great for Balloon Fiesta,” said Donna Domenici, Solid Waste Department.
