U.S., Russia finalize plan to reduce violence in Syria

GENEVA (KRQE) – Secretary of State John Kerry said the United States and Russia have finalized a plan to reduce violence in Syria, ending more than five years of war.
Kerry said the deal clinched with the Russian Foreign Minister could be a “turning point” for the conflict, if implemented.
He spoke early Saturday morning at a joint press conference after a marathon day of negotiations in Geneva.
