U.S. Forest Service creates new plan for prescribed burns after pause in May

(KRQE) -- The U.S. Forest Service is resuming prescribed burns nationwide. The agency said it's taking lessons learned from the Calf Cayon-Hermits Peak fire to prevent disasters going forward.The Hermits Peak-Calf Canyon fires merged to become the biggest fire in New Mexico History.
