UNM Track and Field wraps up at MW Championships

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE)- The Lobo men and women sat solidly in 3rd place coming into the final day of the Mountain West Championships in California on Saturday. The UNM men’s team ended up placing 4th overall, while the women’s also placed 4th.
There was some great performances from both squads on Saturday. On the men’s side freshman Josh Kerr took home the 1500 meter title, after a great push late in the final home stretch. Sam Trigg also took home a triple jump title on Saturday.
