UNM: Tesla driver killed in crash was former student

(KRQE) – The first man to die in self-driving car crash was once a University of New Mexico student.
Joshua Brown was using the feature on his Tesla Model-S when he collided with a truck in Florida in May.
Police say the truck pulling a semi-trailer made a left turn in front of Brown’s Model-S. The Tesla’s roof struck the underside of the trailer, passed underneath it and eventually hit a pole.
He posted this video to YouTube months ago showing the auto pilot’s ability to
