Unclaimed New Mexico veterans finally receive proper burial

SANTA FE (KRQE) – Twenty-eight New Mexico veterans are now resting peacefully at the Santa Fe National Cemetery, after finally getting a proper burial. Tuesday morning the Patriot Guard Riders of New Mexico, helped lead the 27 men and one woman to their final resting place. Each one carried the cremated remains of one of the veterans being honored.
