Tumbleweed snowman welcomes driver along I-40

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – It’s that time of year again when a familiar, friendly face pops up along I-40.
The group has been building the tumbleweed snowman since 1995. Crews began working on this guy last week before Thanksgiving by picking out the tumbleweeds for the body of the snowman, and painting them white.
They say it could be the biggest one yet, with the bottom of the snowman being about 10 feet wide.
