Tuesday marks 21st anniversary of Oklahoma City Bombing

OKLAHOMA CITY (CNN) – Tuesday marks 21 years since the deadly bombing at the Alfred P. Murrah federal building in Oklahoma City.
At 9:02 a.m. on April 19th, 1995, anti-government militant Timothy McVeigh detonated a truck bomb outside the building, killing 168 people, including 19 young children who were in the day care center.
More than 650 were injured.
The blast damaged or destroyed more than 300 nearby buildings.
McVeigh was executed for his crimes and his co-conspirator, Terry Nichols
