Tony Torrez back in court on firearm, drug charges

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The man serving 16 years behind bars for shooting and killing 4-year-old Lilly Garcia is now facing federal drug and firearms charges.
Tony Torrez was sentenced last week after pleading guilty to Lilly’s murder and on Wednesday he appeared in court on the drug and gun charges.
According to a criminal complaint, the charges stem from searches that were conducted just after the shooting.
