Teenager accused of shooting his dad outside Albuquerque hotel

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A teenager is in custody on Tuesday night for shooting his dad multiple times outside of an Albuquerque hotel. Bernalillo County District Attorney Sam Bregman said the 16-year-old was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. Judge decides on pretrial detention for vehicular homicide suspectDA Bregman said court records show the father who was shot had two warrants for his arrest.The teenager is expected to appear in court on Wednesday afternoon.
