SWAT situation in northeast Albuquerque ends, suspect arrested

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Police have identified and arrested the suspect that sparked a SWAT situation Thursday as 28-year-old Robert Cass, who police say has a violent history.
Albuquerque police SWAT teams were scene on Towner, near Menaul and Juan Tabo. Police say they spotted three people get out of a stolen car Thursday morning. They arrested two of them, but Cass took off and barricaded himself inside a home, according to police.
