Suspect identified in Lincoln County officer-involved shooting

CARRIZOZO, N.M. (KRQE) –The suspect, shot and killed by state police in Lincoln County, has been identified and he’s no stranger to police.
Officers say 32-year-old Alan Franco-Armenta fled from them after a domestic violence dispute.
After his vehicle was disabled during a chase, they say he sat in his car, threatening suicide. During the hours long standoff, officers say Armenta shot at police equipment. It was when he started shooting at officers, that they fired back killing
