Students sit in boxes to raise awarness

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE)– Albuquerque students sat in a cardboard boxes Saturday to bring awareness to homelessness in our community.
It’s all part of the National Homeless and Hunger Awareness Week.
For one hour students from Cottonwood Classical Preparatory School and the Public Academy for Performing Arts sat in the boxes to experience an hour of what it would be like to live without a home.
Participants say it was a humbling experience.
