Strong geomagnetic storm could bring northern lights to multiple states: forecast

(NEXSTAR) — Skywatchers across at least 18 states may have the chance to see the northern lights on Tuesday as a coronal mass ejection impacts Earth.NOAA's Space Weather Prediction Center has been tracking the coronal mass ejection, or CME, since Sunday.
