The low pressure system continues to make its way towards New Mexico today. The moisture ahead of the low is causing widespread rain across southern and eastern New Mexico. The rain isstretching as far north as the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. The heaviest rainfall is currently in the southwest and the Sangre de Cristo Mountains.
