Storm chances continue through the end of this week

Rain and thunderstorm chances increase for parts of New Mexico through the end of this week. However, our weather is trending drier this weekend.
An area of low pressure in eastern Arizona/western New Mexico has kept rain and a few rumbles of thunder ongoing since early this morning in the western half of New Mexico. This brought rain into the Albuquerque Metro early this afternoon and has kept some much cooler air in place today. It has also brought heavy rain to the Ruidoso area again where th
