State regulators to fine company over Crouch Mesa water

FARMINGTON, N.M. (AP) – State regulators have announced they will fine a water company for failing to restore safe drinking water to a Farmington-area community.
The Daily Times reports that the New Mexico Environment Department has issued an emergency order because of AV Water Company’s lack of progress restoring water to Harvest Gold customers.
