State Police: U.S. Airman dies in motorcycle crash

DONA ANA COUNTY (KRQE) – New Mexico State Police officers responded to a fatal crash in Dona Ana County.
Police say it happened on Saturday morning at about 9:15. The crash happened on Interstate 10, south of Las Cruces, near mile marker 148.
Officials say 24-year-old Andrew Dare from North Carolina was driving westbound on Interstate 10 on a motorcycle. Dare struck a vehicle, sending him into the median where he collided with a barrier.
Dare died on scene from his injuries.
