State Police release new details on officer-involved shooting

SOCORRO, N.M. (KRQE) – State Police have released new details about the officer-involved shooting in Socorro.
It started around 8:00 a.m. after an officer with the Seventh Judicial District Attorney’s Office tried to pull over a suspect in a stolen vehicle. State Police say according to reports the suspect was armed and fled in the vehicle and later on foot.
State Police say the D.A.’s officer fired at the suspect, injuring him. The suspect was transported to UNM Hospital where
