State Police: 2 pedestrians killed in hit-and-run crash

ESPANOLA, N.M. (AP) — Authorities say two pedestrians are dead after being struck by a hit-and-run driver’s vehicle in northern New Mexico.
The State Police identified the victims of the Wednesday night crash on U.S. 84 near Espanola as 49-year-old Joey Romero of Hernandez and 43-year-old Beverly P. Trujillo of Santa Fe.
According to the State Police, the suspect vehicle may be a blue Toyota pickup.
