State baseball opening series are a go

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The best of three will move on; State baseball opening series started in earnest around the Land of Enchantment Friday. Defending champion Eldorado started their series against the Hobbs Eagles with a 16-7 victory. Eldorado is 7 seed playing a 10 in Hobbs.
The two teams will meet up for game two at Eldorado High School Saturday at 10 a.m. Last year runner up, Volcano Vista, also opened their best of three series with a win. The Hawks got a two run shot from Dillon Rodr
