Star-spangled suds: Budweiser temporarily changes beer name to ‘America’

ST. LOUIS (MEDIA GENERAL) – On Tuesday, Anheuser-Busch announced it is taking its summer branding campaign to new starred-and-striped heights. The brewer is temporarily changing the name of Budweiser lager to “America,” first reported by Fast Company.
The beer’s iconic label is getting plenty of tweaks, too. With America written in recognizable Budweiser script, the brewer also added patriotic touches to the label, including “E Pluribus Unum” in place of &ldqu
