Staff attorneys refuse to give up documents in Phil Griego case

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Staff attorneys for the state legislature refuse to turn over documents in the fraud and bribery case against former State Senator Phil Griego.
They say it’s their duty to protect privileged communications between lawmakers.
Griego is facing nine criminal charges for allegedly profiting from the sale of state buildings.
