Spring snowstorm hits northern New Mexico

NEW MEXICO (KRQE)– Parts of New Mexico woke up to snow this morning.
The spring snowstorm mostly hit northern New Mexico.
In Tesuque the snow made for slick roads making driving difficult Friday morning.
The snow was a welcome sight in Ruidoso where fire crews have been working to fully contain the Moon Mountain Fire that has been burning since Monday.
Crews were able to hold the fire line overnight.The 125 acre fire remains at 70 percent contained.
No word yet on how it started.
