Showcase features Albuquerque bands

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The sounds of fifteen local bands filled Civic Plaza.
The City of Albuquerque hosted a band showcase to help introduce the community to local performers.
Venue and concert promoters were there to check out the show and bands had the opportunity to meet entertainment bookers from places including the BioPak, Summerfest, Convention Center, and Old Town.
Band members KRQE News 13 spoke to say they appreciate the city helping them possibly get their big break.
