RUIDOSO, N.M. (KRQE) – Crews are battling a fire in Ruidoso that prompted school evacuations.
Fire officials say the fire is burning on Lupine Loop on Moon Mountain. Officials say the wind is blowing the fire away from the town.
On Monday, schools in the area were evacuated as a precaution. However, firefighters say there is not imminent danger and the evacuation is just a precaution.
