Santa Fe moves forward with pedestrian underpass plans

SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – The city of Santa Fe is moving forward with a pedestrian and bicycle underpass and by the looks of it, it’s going to be pretty fancy. The crossing will be under Saint Francis Drive near Cerrillos Road.
A city council committee approved several bids for construction Monday. An artist rendering shows what it might look like, which includes a light sculpture.
Counselors say most of the $5 million project is being paid for with federal funds.
