Santa Fe County bans most fireworks due to dry conditions
SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – Severe drought conditions have forced Santa Fe County to ban most fireworks.
County Commissioners unanimously approved the resolution for the next 30 days. Fireworks that go up in the air are banned, but ones that stay on the ground are OK as long as there’s a water source nearby.
All fireworks are banned from the wild land areas.
