Sale of a Santa Fe university placed on hold

SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – The sale of Santa Fe University of Art and Design is put on hold for now.
The Santa Fe New Mexican reported the Higher Learning Commission wants more information about the sale and its possible effect on financial aid for students.
The proposed sale is to a Singapore-based company.
The Commission’s board voted on the decision during its November meeting. The board expects to review the information in their next meeting in February.
