Rian Gonzales set New Mexico high school single game record for three point buckets

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Rian Gonzales will never forget February 6, 2025. The six foot three senior guard made a state record 17 three-point buckets in the Hawks' 98-45 victory over the Piedra Vista Panthers. Gonzales, who is on the equivalent of an all-star team with Volcano Vista, scored 62 points in the game which ties him for 6th best all time."I mean, I realized after that last shot, that 17th shot.
