Retired cop: Some drug users use multiple stolen cars to get around

This week’s theft of an old car belonging to a young mother-to-be raised the spirit of generosity in a lot of our viewers and website visitors who wanted to help her replace the things she bought for her new baby. But it also raised another question: why would anybody want to steal a 20-year-old car?
