Results for legislative recount races remain unchanged

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The original results of three recounts in New Mexico legislative races will remain unchanged.
The Secretary of State’s Office announced victories by incumbent Democratic Sen. John Sapien of Corrales, Rep. David Adkins of Albuquerque, and Democratic Rep. Daymon Ely of Corrales.
Each won by less than 200 votes, the closest decided by nine votes between Adkins and Ronnie Martinez.
Democrats won control of the legislature by overtaking the GOP in the House
