Repeat offender faces judge on stolen car charges

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE)– A repeat crook’s attempts to talk his way out of jail with no bond didn’t work.
David Valdez was in court Saturday morning on stolen car charges.
Bernalillo County Deputies say they found at least three stolen cars on a south valley property Valdez owns.
He tried to tell the judge that despite past bench warrants for not showing up in court a bond wasn’t necessary.
The judge pointing to Valdez’s 24 total arrests, gave him a $25,000 bond.
