Rain and thunderstorms possible in parts of New Mexico Wednesday and Thursday

The stretch of warm weather continues across New Mexico. Isolated showers and thunderstorms develop Wednesday and Thursday, but evaporating rain and lightning will bring a wildfire risk.
It's been another very warm day across New Mexico with temperatures even warmer than Monday for many. A couple record high temperatures have also been broken in places like Gallup and Silver City today. Winds are light across the entire state with sunny skies. Temperatures will remain mild overnight.
