Quarantine lifted at New Mexico racetrack

ALBUQUERQUE (AP) – State livestock officials have lifted a quarantine at Sunland Park Racetrack and Casino in southern New Mexico following an equine herpes outbreak.
The New Mexico Livestock Board announced the decision Wednesday, saying no new cases of the fast-spreading virus have been reported in the last 14 days.
