Public invited to welcome veterans home from trip to Washington, D.C.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – It’s the 3rd Annual welcome home ceremony for more than 20 World War II veterans and you’re invited.
The group will be returning home from a three-day trip to Washington, D.C. courtesy of Honor Flight of Northern New Mexico. Honor Flight is a non-profit that pays for veterans to travel from Albuquerque to Washington, D.C. to visit the World War II Memorial.
The public should begin arriving at the Sunport by 3 p.m. on Friday. People are also encouraged
