Proposal could allow businesses to put up temporary signs after fire

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Help could be on the way for some Albuquerque businesses caught in red tape. A fire broke out in the Sequoia Square Shopping Center on Coors in November.
The surviving businesses put up banners to let customers know they were still open, or had relocated to other areas of the shopping center. But the city ordered them to take them down saying they’re not allowed under city charter.
