Program allows students to become Junior Rangers

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – With summer rounding the corner, keeping the kids busy has just become easier with one local program.
The Rio Grande Nature Center State Park is hosting summer programs for students and using the whole nature park as a classroom.
Park Ranger Heather MacCurdy and Nature Discovery Teacher Cindy Chapman, joined KRQE’s This Morning team to discuss the programs. Watch above.
Students will learn how to observe and see nature through walks, games and activities.
