‘Preacher’ debut date released

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Viewers now know when a new television show, that is using Albuquerque as its backdrop, will debut.
“Preacher” is set to premiere on AMC on May 22, following the midseason finale of “Fear the Walking Dead”.
The network unveiled a poster to promote the new show which is being filmed in New Mexico.
“Preacher” is based on a cult comic book and follows a west Texas preacher who develops an unusual power.
