Police warn against election official imposters

ROSWELL, N.M. (KRQE) – With the election approaching, be aware of impostors trying to use the occasion to take advantage of voters.
A Roswell woman says a woman came to her door claiming to be a “voting clerk” who needed to gather information from the resident.
Election officials do not go door-to-door seeking information.
Police say not to give personal or financial information to anyone you do not know unless you are certain who they represent and how the information is
