Police: Viral video in Albuquerque may be staged

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – An Albuquerque man posted a video of what he calls an “attempted carjacking” and it’s been viewed more than 200,000 times in less than a week.
KRQE News 13 received the video on Wednesday and contacted the Albuquerque Police Department. APD was also looking into how truthful the video is, and told KRQE News 13 it could all be staged.
The video begins outside the Castle Megastore, near Central Avenue and San Mateo Boulevard.
